Choose the exact equipment variant

Start with the weapon or armor you intend to use and check its quality. Equipment variants can share a name while having different material costs. Confirm the variant against the recipe or schematic available in your own save before gathering materials. A record in a game-data table does not prove that you have unlocked it.

In this snapshot, an ordinary Assault Rifle requires 40 Refined Ingots, 10 Polymer and 10 Carbon Fiber. The rarity-4 recipe instead requires 80 Refined Ingots, 20 Polymer, 20 Carbon Fiber and 4 Ancient Civilization Parts. Treat those as separate targets; materials for the ordinary version do not automatically cover the other version.

Check the crafting station and unlock conditions in game before committing a large batch. Nexus links technology entries when the export supplies them, but it does not yet validate your technology level, station access or schematic ownership.

Budget the ammunition too

A weapon upgrade is only part of the preparation. In this snapshot, one Assault Rifle Ammo batch produces 20 rounds from 1 Refined Ingot and 2 Gunpowder. If you need 100 rounds and have none, five batches require 5 Refined Ingots and 10 Gunpowder.

Combining one ordinary Assault Rifle and 100 rounds gives a first-level requirement of 45 Refined Ingots, 10 Polymer, 10 Carbon Fiber and 10 Gunpowder. Those intermediates have their own recipes; expand them only if you intend to make them yourself.

Your target should be the total you want to possess. If you have 40 rounds and want 100, the missing 60 rounds need three batches. If you have 90 and want 100, you still need one whole batch and will finish with 110. Keep the ten extra rounds in your next stock count.

Choose the material route that fits your stock

Carbon Fiber has two recipes in this snapshot: 2 Coal and 1 Flame Organ, or 5 Charcoal and 1 Flame Organ, per Carbon Fiber. Charcoal itself uses two Wood per unit. For ten Carbon Fiber, the alternatives therefore require either 20 Coal or 50 Charcoal, plus 10 Flame Organs. Making all 50 Charcoal requires 100 Wood.

These are material alternatives, not a claim that either route is universally faster. Consider what is already in storage, which gathering locations you can safely reach and whether your processing stations are occupied. Keep finished Carbon Fiber out of further expansion: each unit already owned removes a unit you would otherwise craft.

Choose direct acquisition for an intermediate if you will obtain it elsewhere. The resulting list should ask for the intermediate itself, rather than automatically asking for its raw materials as well.

Gather, craft and review

Combine the weapon and ammunition targets before assigning shared stock. The same ingots must not satisfy both targets twice. Gather the missing base materials, craft the intermediates and only then craft the final equipment and ammunition.

Use item references to inspect positive-rate Pal drops, shop-table listings and gathering samples. An absent source is missing coverage, not proof that an item is unobtainable. Shop tables do not currently establish a merchant's location, currency or live inventory.

After crafting, count the items you actually possess. A checked checklist step does not read or update your save. Keep notes about the chosen station and route if you plan to repeat the batch; optional saved goals preserve the original calculation and reference version.
