Pick one outcome
Before filling a calendar, decide what would make the event worthwhile for you: a collection entry, a few raids with friends, or progress through research. Set a target you can measure. A short play session with one clear goal is easier to prepare for than a list of every possible reward.
Open the event schedule and read the event window, access conditions, and deadline notes. The collection is deliberately limited; check the linked official announcement for the latest details.
Prepare your supplies and time
Choose when you will actually play, then make a short checklist. For catching, consider balls, berries and storage space. For raiding, check your battle team, healing supplies and the passes you intend to spend. Write down your meetup arrangements before leaving.
Use quantities that reflect your own playing style. Nexus preparation tasks are suggestions, not a claim that every event requires a particular stockpile. Edit or remove tasks that do not apply.
Build a raid plan
Choose the boss you want to challenge and inspect your available Pokémon and moves in game. Record your team and any changes you want to make before the event. Agree a time with your group and check where the relevant raids are available.
Set a pass budget before you start. Keep expected free passes separate from passes you already hold until you have actually obtained them. A plan records intent; it does not reserve inventory or join a raid.

Leave room for claiming
Do not treat the end of your play session as proof that everything is collected. Review research and reward screens before stopping. A progression window and a claim window can differ; use the exact deadlines for the event you joined.
The planner keeps research progress and reward claiming separate. Mark rewards as claimed only after checking in game. A counter reaching its target does not automatically complete research or claim anything.
Keep a useful record
Add progress between sessions rather than logging every interaction. At the end, note what you obtained, what worked, and what you would change. Mark the plan finished, or archive it if you no longer intend to play.
Open the field journal to start an editable draft. A free Nexus account lets you save it across devices. Saved plans retain their original event information, while current event pages may receive corrections.
