Count buildings and materials separately

Decide how many Breeding Farms you want in the base when the work is finished. Count the farms already built before gathering construction supplies. If the target is two farms and one already exists, only one farm remains to construct.

The pinned construction export lists 10 Wooden Boards, 20 Stone and 50 Fiber for one Breeding Farm. Two new farms therefore require 20 Wooden Boards, 40 Stone and 100 Fiber. These are construction-table values, not a promise about every patch: check the costs displayed in your own save before collecting materials.

Keep existing structures separate from loose materials in storage. An already-built farm removes a whole construction requirement. Ten boards in a chest reduce only the missing board requirement; they do not count as a completed farm.

Prepare the construction stage

Check the building's technology and any prerequisite shown in your game. Having its materials does not establish that you can place it. Also check the available building area and whether Pals can reach the working space.

List every structure in the current stage before allocating materials. Shared Stone or boards should be counted once across the combined project. If you have processed boards, preserve them as boards in your stock list instead of counting them again as the Wood used to make them.

Gather the missing materials, make intermediate supplies and then place the buildings. If you plan to obtain an intermediate directly, stop its recipe expansion at that item. Your checklist should reflect the method you intend to follow.

Prepare the operating stage

A completed Breeding Farm is not a complete breeding routine. Choose the parents and prepare Cake separately. Check that the pair is appropriate for the game version and target you are using, then account for the ingredients and processing stations needed to sustain attempts.

The Cake supply chain includes growing or obtaining ingredients, processing Wheat into Flour and cooking Cake. A healthy ingredient stock does not guarantee that the next station is working: inspect worker suitability, access and the contents of the station when output stops.

Follow the Cake preparation guide for the ingredient calculation and supply routine. Follow the Anubis planning guide for an example of choosing a versioned species route. Both articles can be followed without using a tool.

Choose gathering locations

Use resource references to identify gathering placements or Pal drops. The world map can show recorded resource locations and sampled wild spawns; a marker does not guarantee that the resource or Pal is currently present in your save.

Choose locations that fit your progression, equipment and travel access. The map currently does not find a shortest route, account for dangerous terrain or know which fast-travel points you have unlocked. Keep those practical constraints in your plan.

Review after building

Mark construction steps complete only after placing the structures. Then check access and operation in game. Nexus does not validate layouts, automatically assign workers or infer your production rate.

Update material counts after the session. Saved goals keep their original material and construction references, so a later data update does not silently rewrite your checklist. Recalculate explicitly when you want a new plan based on a changed reference.
